Rules

This network may NOT be used for:

Flooding (including flood/clonebots).

Clones.

Unsecured proxying (including the use of proxies of any type to avoid a ban)

Attempts to takeover existing channels.

Attempts to disrupt network services.

Spamming and/or advertising of any type (including automatic invite scripts or mass invitations).

Hacking (including Virus/Trojan distribution).

Harassment of users or staff.

Actions that we, the operators, regard as abuse.

Your use of this network indicates acceptance of these conditions. Violation of the rules will result in kills, nickname or channel suspensions and possible access bans. Note that this is not an exhaustive list of things not to do. We expect common sense to be used.

UtoNet runs an open proxy scanner to prevent abuse, if you see connections on various ports from evek.us.utonet.org please ignore them, as they are the scanner in action.

We encourage our users not to give out personal identifying information or passwords to anyone. The UtoNet staff will NEVER ask you for your password.
