UtoNet Privacy Policy

The UtoNet IRC Network (UtoNet) will not sell private information about you.
UtoNet will not sell or willfully give away your email address to third parties. They are used strictly for password recovery and security purposes. You may choose to publically reveal your email address.
Your hostname and IP address may be revealed by using UtoNet services. This is due to the nature of Internet Relay Chat (IRC).
The IRC protocol has a field for your "full name." If you wish your full name to remain private, you are not required to fill in accurate information in this field. If you chose to fill in your full name, please note that it will be publically available.
UtoNet administrators, ircops and staff cannot and will not read private messages unless they are a party to the private message or a party to the private message divulges the message to said administrator, ircop or staff member.
UtoNet administrators, ircops and staff cannot and will not read channels that they have not visibly joined and are not currently present in unless someone who is present in the channel divulges the conversation to said administrator, ircop or staff member.
UtoNet will not sell or willfully disclose the name and email address used to register for the UtoNet site to any third party.
